The United Terran Star Systems
In the distant future, humanity has formed an interstellar empire. Although plagued by technological stagnation, the Earth-led coalition of planets still spreads ever outward in an attempt to secure a safe future for all people.
Yet threats and challenges abound in the shape of multiple alien neighbors. Many of their motives and cultures are indecipherable to the human mind. Incidents, conflicts, and even wars spring up—often through human miscalculation.
And deep in the black, far away from the furthest extent of human exploration, unfathomable powers lie in wait.
